Safi is a risk assessment tool, not a law firm. Our reports help you make informed decisions before release. If you receive a High Risk verdict, we strongly recommend consulting an entertainment attorney before publishing.

We accept MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG, and FLAC audio files up to 25MB. For lyrics-only checks, paste text directly into the form.

Your uploaded tracks are deleted after analysis by default. If you tick “Keep my file” when uploading, we store it for 30 days so you can re-run the check, then delete it. We never use your music to train any models. Your work stays yours.

Similarity is reported on a 1–10 scale across four dimensions (lyrics, melody, structure, voice). Accuracy varies by genre, track length, and the dimension being analyzed — it is highest for lyrics and melody, and more interpretive for voice and structure. You can always flag results you believe are incorrect.

Yes. Safi works on demos, rough mixes, and finished masters. We recommend checking early drafts so you have time to make adjustments before your release deadline.

Safi uses AudD's music recognition database as one detection layer, giving us access to one of the largest commercially licensed music fingerprint databases available. We combine this with Claude, applying copyright doctrine to your lyrics, structure and any matches found across 11 music data sources.
